These mittens were not designed to be used during activities that cause rubbing on the wool (such as wood-chopping, dog leash-holding, etc.).
For these kinds of activities, we suggest wearing the mittens as thick, warm, absorbent, breathable liners under leather or synthetic shell mittens.

CARE: Wash by hand very gently, or soak and spin in a top-loading washing machine.
